Take off
Easy and progressive inflation, even in a light or nil wind: the BI BETA 3 rises progressively, without a hard point, comes straight up and does not overtake the pilot.

In flight
Progressive spiral braking: perfect speed and amplitude reaction. The pleasure of the BI BETA 3 is similar to the BI BETA 2 but with lighter brakes, less brake range and more precision in the turn.

Landing
A good approach speed and a nice flare stops the glider instantly so there is no need to take a step! The BI BETA 3 stops completely, whereas the BIBETA 2 sometimes requires the pilot and passenger to take a step on touchdown.

Innovations

Only plus points - the BI BETA 3 has a new three-coloured design just like the ALPHA 3, EPSILON 4 and SIGMA 6. The stripe on the upper surface makes it more dynamic and beautiful.

Trimmers
We have developed an innovative trimmers system with flat buckles instead of claws buckles (which tend to quickly wear away the straps). This system prevent wearing away the straps and is coated with neoprene. These trimmers work on the D risers (+ 7cm) and on the C risers (+ 3,5 cm) and increase the penetration if necessary.

For ADVANCE, trimmers are a safety gear when the passenger is light or the wind is strong. Moreover, when making the big ears, the trimmers give more speed and more safety.

Big ears kit, a special for tandem feature on a tandem wing, making the big ears is generally very physical. That is why we have developed a system to fix the big ears. That enables the pilot to keep the brakes in the hands. The big ears kit has a plastic ball you fix in a strap on the spreaders. You just push on the balls to release the big ears.

The BI BETA 3 is available in two sizes - 38m2 and 41m2.

Certification

Our priority is always the flying behaviour. The certification tests are, with ADVANCE, the final step in the development of a new wing.

We will make them only when we are satisfied with the wing, aeronautically speaking. The design requirements we set for the Bi BETA 3 have been reached.

The BI BETA 3 is certified according to DHV requirements, Biplace and DHV 1-2, with trimmers.
